Your Agafay day pass, explained
An Agafay day pass is the simplest way to enjoy the desert without staying overnight. You leave Marrakech on our complimentary shuttle, spend the day beside the heated infinity pool with views of the Atlas Mountains, enjoy a three-course meal from our restaurant and return to the city in the evening.
There are two formulas. The Day Pass includes lunch, pool access, a lounger and towels, with the shuttle leaving Hôtel Chems at 10:30am and returning at 4:30pm. The Dinner & Pool pass starts at 3pm, includes a three-course dinner with live entertainment and returns to Marrakech at 10pm. Drinks are not included in either formula.
The Agafay day pass is popular with travellers staying in the medina who want a break from the city, with couples looking for a quiet day together and with friends celebrating a birthday by the pool. Families are welcome too, and our team can suggest a camel ride or a quad tour to complete your day in the desert.
How much does the Agafay day pass cost?
The Day Pass starts from 550 MAD per person and the Dinner & Pool pass from 650 MAD per person. Some dishes carry a supplement and drinks are charged separately.
Is transport from Marrakech included?
Yes. Both passes include a complimentary round-trip shuttle from Hôtel Chems in Marrakech. You can also come by car: the camp is about 45 minutes from the city.
Is the pool heated?
Yes, the infinity pool is heated to 24°C, so it can be enjoyed all year round.
Do I need to book in advance?
We recommend booking ahead, especially at weekends. Loungers are not guaranteed for late arrivals.
Can I stay overnight after my day pass?
Of course. If you fall for the desert, book one of our 52 tents and turn your Agafay day pass into a night under the stars.
What should I bring?
Bring a swimsuit, sunscreen, sunglasses and a light jacket for the evening, as the desert cools down quickly after sunset. Towels and loungers are provided.
Can I add an activity to my day pass?
Yes. Camel rides, quad tours, massages and other activities can be added on request, subject to availability. Just ask our team when you book.
