Directions to Agafay: we are thirty-five kilometers southwest of Marrakech, on the edge of the Agafay stone desert. From Menara airport, the drive is under an hour on well-paved roads.
A private shuttle can be arranged from your riad, hotel, or the airport. The last three kilometers are on a camp-maintained track. A standard car manages it easily in dry weather, and we send a 4×4 after rain.
Directions to Agafay and practical information
Les Terrasses d'Agafay is thirty-five kilometres south-west of Marrakech, in the stone desert of Agafay. The drive takes about 45 minutes from the city and 55 minutes from Menara airport, on paved roads for almost the whole journey. The last three kilometres follow a track maintained by the camp, which a standard car can drive in dry weather. For turn-by-turn directions to Agafay, open our location in Google Maps.
If you prefer not to drive, our team can arrange a private shuttle from your riad, hotel or the airport, and after rain we send a 4×4. For day passes, a complimentary shuttle leaves from Hôtel Chems in Marrakech.

Can I drive to the camp in a normal car?
Yes, in dry weather. The road is paved except for the last three kilometres, which follow a well-maintained track. After rain, we recommend our 4×4 transfer.
Can I visit for the day without staying overnight?
